چکیده

Abstract Six silica-supported phosphotungstic acid catalysts (PTA/SiO 2 ) of different composition (20–70 wt% PTA content) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, BET, BJH, NH 3 -TPD methods, FT-IR spectroscopy adsorbed pyridine 1 H MAS NMR techniques. The new composite were first applied in the Friedel–Crafts alkylation toluene with 1-octene as a benchmark process under batch conditions order to screen their activity recyclability. combined analytical techniques together catalytic studies enabled identification main factors affecting catalysts. Based on these preliminary experiments, best performing catalyst system (50 PTA/SiO was investigated continuous flow mode using an in-house-made reactor. thorough screening reaction (temperature, toluene/1-octene molar ratio rate) provided firm evidence that 50 is highly active, selective stable mild even at elevated rate. Additionally, used could successfully be regenerated reused process.

Direct Production of Ethyl Levulinate from Carbohydrates Catalyzed by H-ZSM-5 Supported Phosphotungstic Acid

A series of supported phosphotungstic acid (H3PW12O40, HPW) catalysts, including HPW/β, HPW/Sn-β, HPW/H-Y, HPW/H-ZSM-5, HPW/USY, HPW/ReUSY, and HPW/SBA-15, were prepared using an impregnation method for alcoholysis of fructose to ethyl levulinate in ethanol. Among these catalysts, HPW/H-ZSM-5 showed the highest catalytic activity, and the yield of ethyl levulinate from fructose increased with i...

Aliphatic alcohols oxidation with Hydrogen Peroxide in water catalyzed by supported Phosphotungstic acid (PTA) on Silica coated MgAl2O4 nanoparticles as a recoverable catalyst

In this paper, a novel catalyst (MgAl2O4@SiO2-PTA) was proposed for the green oxidation of aliphatic alcohols. The resultant composite was characterized by different techniques, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), SEM, FT-IR, EDX and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area analysis. The prepared nanocomposite was used as a catalyst for oxidation of aliphatic alco...

An Environmentally Route for Synthesis of Triarylmethanes Catalyzed by Heteropolyphosphotungstic Acid in Water

An efficient and environmentally benign procedure for synthesis of triarylmethanes is developed via condensation of aromatic aldehydes and N,N-dimethylaniline using small quantity of heteropolyphosphotungstic acid (HPW) as catalyst in water. Good functional group tolerance, simple green experimental procedure, and good to excellent yields of products are the most advantages of this work.
